Font Fiend can be used as a tool for managing game images other than fonts. To do so requires that those images be brought into the program by using the Insert Image button found in the Sprite List box. The dialog that pops up helps you choose where the hotspot will go (radio buttons on the right hand side) and where the image will be placed in the sprite list based upon the image selected in the current sprite window. TGA, PNG and Font Fiend RAW files can be imported.
