Jan. 17, 2006. Cosmos Gaming have reviewed Battle Castles and have said some very nice things
about how the game plays, it goes a little like this:
Battle Castles has 24 stages and three difficulty settings. As each stage is divided into
multiple levels and they can get extremely hectic (to the point where you need to take a
break just to give your hand a rest), this game will last you for a good while. If you're
in the mood for some more twitch based gaming that will keep you busy for a good time to
come, definitely go and purchase Battle Castles. Not only is it addicting, but it's a very
solid experience that deserves to be played.
Wowzers! Check out the full review
here.

Jan 5, 2006, Here's a long story that doesn't fit anywhere else on the site. My name is Lennard Feddersen
and I am the owner of Rusty Axe Games. The Axe is my baby, the thing that I have wanted to do for a long time. Part of
how I got to this place in my journey was when I came to the conclusion that I had to quit working for Cryptic Studios and
working on a little game called City of Heroes. COH, for the first of my two years on the project, was a very, very fun gig - probably the most fun
that I had during my time in corporate, big game development and a run of just about twenty shrink wrapped titles over the years.
Unfortunately the studio became a place that wasn't for me anymore - no knock on the very talented people who work there - but
I started to recognize patterns and behaviours and, while the faces had changed, fool me once, shame on you, yada, yada, yada. Anywho, part of
what made Cryptic fun for me was a guy that I didn't particularily work well with - his name is Rick Dakan. Rick and I had a lot
of fun together when we weren't working together for Cryptic. Rick is a phenomenal dungeon master and was a big part of a great gang
of men and women that used to like to go drinking and dancing on Pacific Avenue in Santa Cruz. Recommended if you ever find yourself
in the neighbourhood, BTW. So, where was I... right. Rick didn't leave Cryptic in the same manner as I did but followed me out the
door shortly thereafter all the same. Check out his blog for many enjoyable entries,
including a few rants about Cryptic. Rick has also written a book - some might even see a few interesting parallels between Ricks' life and
the book he has penned, typed, possibly pecked. A book that I am enjoying the heck out of and you might also,
